Peter C. Davies, CCM – Biography

Peter C. Davies, CCM has served as General Manager and COO of the Wianno Club in Osterville (Cape Cod), Massachusetts since February 2008. Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager and COO of Heritage Club in Mason, OH from 2000 to 2008. In previous years, he held various positions at Ivy Hills Country Club in Cincinnati, OH, and served as Club Manager for Four Bridges Country Club in Liberty Township, OH.

Davies joined CMAA in 1997 and currently serves as CMAA Director and co-chairman of the CMI Committee (2011 & 2012). He has served as co-chairman of the Career Services Committee (2009), Chairman of the Technology Committee (2010) and on several CMAA national committees including the CMI Committee (2010), Premier Club Services Committee (2005/2006), Idea Fair Committee (2007), Chapter Member Services Committee (2007/2008), and At-Conference Election Committee (2004/2006) as well as serving as the 2009 chairman for the Chapter of the Year Committee.

Active at the chapter level, Davies served on the Ohio Valley Chapter Board of Directors from 2001 through 2007, and Cincinnati District Chairman (2001), Director (2002/2003), Secretary/Treasurer (2004), Vice President (2005), and President (2006/2007). He is now a member of the New England Chapter of CMAA, a CMAA Honor Society member, and has been a member of the CMAA International Wine Society since 2000. He is also an enthusiastic participant in Kevin MacDonald and Shelley MacDougall’s Extraordinary Leader program. Peter has participated in three Bicycle Chautauqua’s including the inaugural Chautauqua in San Antonio in 2002.

Peter and his wife Shelly have been married for thirteen years and blessed with three beautiful children. Christian (27), a stepson for Shelly, attends Hunter College and is pursuing his dreams as a writer in New York City, Harker (9) is in 4th Grade, and Clementine (6) is an enthusiastic 1st grader. Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, reading, music, cycling, and travel. Peter and Shelly also enjoy a strong connection to the United Methodist Church in Osterville, Massachusetts where Shelly serves on the Board of Trustees and Peter serves on the Staff Parish Relations and Fellowship Committees. Peter always looks forward to any opportunity to get together with his circle of friends in CMAA.
